AU - As I lay dying... part 2

This is going to be LONG, folks - as I mentioned earlier this was a sketchy dream I had, quite some time ago, I finally got around to 'illustrate' - Sorry about the writing-quality - it's actually just mainly rough notes, so I KNOW it is terribly written - but it is only supposed to be a quick review of what's happening.

After a bittersweet farewell Pintail leaves the Mallards resident and heads for the air-port where she's been greeted by her friend, pilot and colleague Bruce: [link]
They jump into the plane, heading for her country of origin, Santa Boca to greet with her family.
As hard as it is for Pintail to part with St. Canard, she is going to be reunited with her whole family (except for Diego of course) in Boca for the first time in about 20 years.
Her brothers, their respective families, her mother and her father are all waiting for one another back on the island.

Unfortunately it will never happen - As they land the plane in the hangar, just before dawn, Pin leaves for the bathroom and to change her clothes.
She comes back only to find the uncommon sound of silence, no Bruce whistling, no noise, no nothing - Pin peeks around only to find the window of the Plane has been smothered with blood; she then sees Bruce's silhouette lying over the dashboard - dead.

She turns to see a tall dark platypus, with a raised gun, greeting her with a Hello, miss Torres.

This is supposed to be post-FOWL Brogan; she has just gotten out of FOWL and in her first year she roams around, freelancing. She would rather not have to be paid for killing, but when you're on the run from both FOWL and SHUSH you'll have to take whatever jobs comes up.
So when she is asked to do this paid job, she can not say no.

As we all now a dictator-regime is hard to kill, and connections from the previous government has contacted Brogan in order to get rid of the treacherous little gun-runner (Pintail).

They have a short conversation in the hangar, in which Brogan explains to Pin why she's there, that it is nothing personal etc etc. Pin is aware of it, and also knows that if it wasn't Brogan, then they would have sent some other professional - she's not angry - not at Brogan anyway, but at herself for being so careless.

As a last request Pintail asks to be shot in the head - she has had a lot of friends and familiars who's suffered and been in pain as they lay dying from bullets to the stomach etc.
Unfortunately for her, the orders are precise - She is to die, and it has to be painful and drawn out - which is why the bullet goes to the stomach. She is bleeding but still alive as Brogan throws her into a van, drives her downtown, to the docks (which in this case also is the capital) and throws the still-breathing-Pin out where she is left for dead, some distance from one of her brothers' house.


As she lay there in the early silence, gasping for air, she witnesses the sunrise, pulls out a little smile and...

Dies.
