Tales of Cape Suzette

Aight - so there are still a many holes in Madonnas history, as she's still (kinda) very new. BUT, here goes: She's a personal friend of Shere Khans doctor Erik Solbakken (the polar bear) and thus ends up swinging a lot with the guys. She takes over her husbands place on the Board of Directors, after being personally picked out by Khan as a result of her husbands unfortunate death (he had started making some drastic changes and had turned out to be a possible thread for Khan - at the same time, with his death he left a huge fortune for his widow - both have motives for killing him, but nothing has ever been proved).

Madonna is very masculine in her lifestyle after the death of her husband (and during, for that matter - it has just been more subtle) and relies a lot on her wide-shouldered friends for 'protection'; she has never been romantically involved with any other man, than her late husband (I'll upload drawings to show why, later).
She bonds with her 'friends', but finds a refreshing pleasure in having 's Devika Sandeep's companion when she suddenly turns up in Cape Suzette.

Of course both Erik and Madonna are aware of Khans mind-games with Devika and his emotional exploitation of her, but none steps in - if anything Erik helps out where he can, and Madonna will every once in a while bring her aid.

Apart from helping out Khan and Erik in nasty anti-feministic ways, Madonna have many self-destructive habits, and I'm not only referring to her constant smoking and drinking.
Luckily for her, Erik Solbakken doesn't only function as a close personal friend of her, but, much like Khan, also works as her personal doctor - Madonna especially have a history of drug-use and alcoholism, and every so often manages to mix those two into dangerous doses, and he has to pick up the pieces afterwards, and it won't be done without a scowl and a aggressive lecturing from the polar bear.


Madonnas emotionally status gets worsen by some sudden changes in her personal life (something I'll come back to, on later drawings), and she soon realises that she's starting to feel sorry for Devika and her situation; she stands up to Khan, which eventually leaves her emotionally exposed - something that will change their friendship', leaving her their relationship uneven and thus not a real friendship anylonger.
That is when (due to a lot of disturbances and personal problems) Madonna finally decides to leave Cape Suzette and with her she brings Devika, who should have left a long time ago, herself.
Devika leaves for St. Canard where she stays put. Madonna, in the meantime continues working for Khans incorporations, but will work overseas (and probably stay put in Europe) for the next couple of years.
